Add some flare to your summer BBQ and marinate your steak with The Beretta Kitchen’s Masala chai tea marinade. Cooking with tea has never tasted so good!
¼ c Red Wine
¼ c Water – Boiling
1 ½ Tbsp Masala Chai Tea – Loose Leaf
Bring Wine and Water to a simmer. Add Masala Chai loose leaf tea too steep in the wine & water.
1 Tbsp Shallot – Brunoise
1 ½ Tbsp Grapefruit Zest
1 tsp grated Ginger
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Thyme Leaves
½ tsp Cracked Pepper
Add and stir the remaining ingredients into the tea mixture.
Pour the mixture over the steaks and make sure that all sides are covered. Let sit for 1 – 1 ½ hours.
Lightly wipe some of the marinade off the steaks. And then grill on a very hot barbeque.
